Frequently Asked Questions
When do you update your shop?
This normally happens three to four times a year. There is no set times and usually depends on the projects I have lined up for the coming months. I normally set my largest one for early December and the others happen in intervals of approximately three months. If you wish to be notified, please sign up to my newsletter or follow my instagram account.
Do you work with retailers and/or galleries?
If you wish to stock my work, please get in touch through my contact form to check my availability. Please understand that only my compositional pieces are available to stockists, with my tableware collections being solely available through my website.
Is it possible to pre-order your work?
Every now and then I will organize a pre-order shop update where I will make available my capacity for a period of time. These pre-order shop updates will happen through my website and will be announced on my social media accounts and through my newsletter. Sadly it is not possible to pre-order my work through any other channels at the moment.
Do you take commissions?
While my online shop focuses on smaller-scale pieces, I do, from time to time, accept large private commissions. This includes significant compositional pieces or large tableware sets that require a more personal approach than my regular sales process. If you have a substantial project in mind, please contact me directly, and we can discuss the scope, timing, and feasibility.
Do you ship worldwide?
I do, there is no country I wouldn’t considered shipping. Most times I will be shipping to the UK, EU and other european countries or the US. I have shipped to countries like South Korea, Saudi Arabia or Australia, so don’t hesitate in contacting me if you are interested in purchasing my work and you live somewhere not mentioned above.
Do you produce work for restaurants and hospitality businesses?
If you are interested in working together to develop pieces for your restaurant, please get in touch via my contact form explaining what type of tableware you are looking for and details about your restaurant. Please understand that I don’t make anything that may fall outside of my usual aesthetic and work solely with my current glaze palette. Please be aware that my schedule is fully booked until mid 2026 and I am not yet considering which projects to take on beyond that time.
Do you have any care recommendations?
Matte glazed pieces will inherently stain or mark overtime, my work is also high temperature fired stoneware, meaning they are more susceptible to chipping compared to mass produced wares. They are everyday use objects, however they’re hand crafted and therefore require more care than normal mass produced ceramics. If these pieces stain or show cutlery marks overtime, brush with hydrogen peroxide to remove stains and rinse thoroughly before using.
Please handle your ceramics with care, wash by hand if possible and refrain from using any strongly staining foods/liquids with them. A wash quickly after use and/or not leaving liquid on them overnight or for long periods of time is recommended. Although my pieces are safe to be used in the dishwasher or microwave, they aren’t as durable as factory made wares, and it is best for them if they aren’t use in a dishwasher or microwave.
Is it possible to visit your studio?
If you wish to visit the studio please get in touch closer to the time you plan to visit. I share a small space and might not always be possible, but I’m always keen on welcoming people to visit the space and see my work. Be aware that bringing cake might be a requirement.
x, Borja
